How Much Will a Design Cost?

A basic fee covers the process from initial visit to presentation of a master design and / or planting plan and is payable on presentation of the plan. An initial charge is made of £45 to cover time and expenses for the first visit. If a commission agreed this fee is waived

Fees for any additional works, such as construction drawings or support during implementation, will be agreed separately.

As a guide some typical prices for basic design work in a medium sized garden - approx. 300 sq mtrs would be:

Each commission is individually priced, dependent on the scale of the garden and scope of design work requested. Commissions are taken for complete garden schemes or simply redesigning parts or troublesome areas within a garden.

Remember any spending on a well designed garden can be more than recovered when you come to move and sell your home. A well designed garden can add anything up to 10% on to the value of your home.
