Design Costs A fixed fee covers the process from initial visit to presentation of a master design and / or planting plan and is payable on presentation of the plan. A charge is made of £45 to cover time and expenses for the first visit. If a commission is agreed this fee is waived Fees for any additional works, such as construction drawings or support during implementation, will be agreed separately. As a guide the range of prices for basic design work are:     - Site Survey, development of            £450 - £950       concepts and master plan     - Development of detailed                  £350 - £500       planting plans Each commission is individually priced, dependent on the scale of the garden and scope of design work requested. Commissions are taken for complete garden schemes or simply redesigning parts or troublesome areas within a garden. Construction & Planting Up Once the master plan is completed a quotation for construction and planting up is given. The total cost is dependent on the scale and complexity of the work required - in particular the extent of any hard landscaping. Construction is completed working in partnership with Bankcliffe Ltd., a local landscape contractor with whom we work very closely. Separate quotes are given for construction, supply and planting up of plants and the project management and design support provided by SignatureGardens. The latter is usually in the order of 5% of the landscaping costs. All costs are discussed and agreed with clients before any work begins.
